CBSE NEET 2017 results announced on June 23. Counselling to begin from 3 July.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) published the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) results for the year 2017 on 23 June, 2017. Results are available on the official website www.cbseneet.nic.in and www.cbseresults.nic.in.
Navdeep Singh from Punjab has topped the exam. He secured 697 marks out of 700. Archit Gupta and Manish Mulchandani from Madhya Pradesh bagged the second and third position respectively.
The exam was conducted on 7 May, 2017 for admission in approximately 65,170 MBBS seats and 25,730 BDS seats. A total of 10,90,085 students appeared in the exam out of which 6,11,539 have passed the entrance test. Qualified students include 2,66,221 male candidates and 3,45,313 female candidates. 8 students from transgender category also appeared for NEET 2017 out of which 5 students have qualified it.
Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) constituted by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare will conduct the 15% All India Quota counselling from 3 July, 2017. The online counselling process will begin on official website www.mcc.nic.in.
